Luis Barrera is a U.S. Navy Sailor currently stationed in Illinois, where he is completing Fire Controlman “A” School. After months of training and duty, Luis plans to use his Miles for Military flight to travel home to New York, to reunite with his wife and children. The trip will give him a chance to reconnect with his family, recharge and share his military experience with his children. Luis also volunteers with the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society Uniform Locker at Great Lakes and the Coalition of Sailors Against Destructive Decisions.
