Kaejonae M. is an Airman who volunteered during Nurse Tech Week, helping honor nurses and technicians for their hard work. After her grandmother recently passed away, Kaejonae’s Miles for Military flight helped her travel to Georgia to attend the funeral and be with her family. Her grandmother played an important role in bringing Kaejonae and her father to the United States from Jamaica, making this trip especially meaningful.
“This is an awesome program that really helps airmen to get home for important events and family moments. I’m grateful for the opportunity because with your help and my volunteer hours, I got to go home to attend the funeral service for my grandmother and actually spend time with family.”
