30 Days Before Travel

You must apply at least 30 days before your requested travel dates to ensure our team can verify your hours and book your flight.

Volunteer Contact

You must provide a volunteer point of contact who can verify your hours. If you have served at multiple organizations, you can provide multiple contacts.

E1-E4 Active Duty

Miles for Military is only available to junior enlisted active duty service members. We do not fly family members, reserves, or national guard.

25+ Volunteer Hours

You must complete atleast 25 hours of volunteer service at an organization of your choice within the last 12 months.

A Few Things to Know About Your Flight

Miles for Military does not cover adjustments, upgrades or additional purchases after your flight is booked.

Seat Upgrades

Optional upgrades are your responsibility.

In-Flight Purchases

Food, beverages, Wi-Fi and other purchases are not covered.

Baggage Fees

You are responsible for baggage fees or changes. Check with the airline for active duty benefits.

Flight Changes

Miles for Military does not cover voluntary changes after booking.

Service Eligibility

Miles for Military serves active-duty junior enlisted service members (E1–E4). Confirm your current military service information below to help us verify your eligibility.

This helps you receive TSA Pre-Check and free baggage with participating airlines.

Note: Our program is not available to National Guard or Reserve status.


IMPORTANT: Upload a clear and readable copy of your LES. Confirm that it was issued within the past 30 days and displays your name and pay grade. Block out your Social Security number, bank account information, and other sensitive details before uploading.

Volunteer Service Verification

Tell us about your volunteer service and who can verify your hours. To be eligible for a Miles for Military flight, you must have completed at least 25 hours of volunteer service within the past 12 months.
