Lexis is originally from Oahu, Hawaii, and had seen little of her family since leaving home in 2019. After completing 37 hours of volunteer service with the USO, her Miles for Military flight took her from Florida to Nevada to reconnect with her sister in Las Vegas. The trip offered time together before Lexis graduated and entered the fleet, bringing her closer to the family who helped shape the person she is today.
